Book Lovers’ Getaway

A camp designed for people who love to read. And that is what it is all about: Reading quietly in our beautiful camp setting. This is time for study, reading and reflecting with a very limited program. So, come for a one-day or five-day reading retreat.
Our only scheduled activities:
Breakfast: (7:00 - 9:30 a.m.)
Lunch: (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) self-serve in the cafeteria.
Dinner: Together at 6:00 p.m.
Devotions: based on the Gospel of John every day at 10:00 A.M.
Book Talks: Every evening at 7:00 p.m.

Cost: $25 for an overnight with three meals (or get a full week $125) or $5 per meal for day visits. Bring a lawn chair, a sleeping bag and a stack of good books, and enjoy our coffee and our quiet here at the Camp of the Good Shepherd. |
